Our Citrus Fresh coffee is, as the name suggests, a pleasant, fruity refreshment for the summer months. The green coffee beans come from Nicaragua, from Samuel Zavala's farm to our roastery, where our experts have brought out the typical flavour characteristics of the variety.
The Maracaturra coffee variety is a particularly good choice for those looking for a layered taste experience in their cups. Often characterised by floral, fruity and citrus notes, complemented by a balanced acidity.
In the case of Citrus Fresh, the fruit meat has been removed from the beans by a washing process. This gives the resulting coffee a cleaner, sharper flavour profile and higher acidity. All of these combine to produce a more vibrant flavour.
