Dark Chocolate

A medium dark roast for those who prefer a more traditional coffee taste. The Dark Chocolate comes to our roaster from the La Bendición farm in Nicaragua. Its flavour is slightly fruity with chocolate notes, making it perfect for novice specialty fans too.

Luis Balladarez's coffee has been washed, or wet processed. To start the treatment, machines were used to remove the pulp from the beans and then a tank of water was used to break down the remaining grounds. This process makes the finished coffee much easier to pick out and gives it a clearer flavour.
